- Kapitel 3 -

(Hebrews 5:11–14)

And I could not speake vnto you, brethren, as vnto spirituall men, but as vnto carnall, euen as vnto babes in Christ.

I gaue you milke to drinke, and not meat: for yee were not yet able to beare it, neither yet nowe are yee able.

For yee are yet carnall: for whereas there is among you enuying, and strife, and diuisions, are ye not carnall, and walke as men?

For when one sayeth, I am Pauls, and another, I am Apollos, are yee not carnall?

Who is Paul then? and who is Apollos, but the ministers by whome yee beleeued, and as the Lord gaue to euery man?

I haue planted, Apollos watred, but God gaue the increase.

So then, neither is hee that planteth any thing, neither hee that watreth, but God that giueth the increase.

And he that planteth, and he that watreth, are one, and euery man shall receiue his wages, according to his labour.

For we together are Gods labourers: yee are Gods husbandrie, and Gods building.

Christ Our Foundation

(Isaiah 28:14–22; Ephesians 2:19–22; 1 Peter 2:1–8)

According to the grace of God giuen to mee, as a skilfull master builder, I haue laide the foundation, and another buildeth thereon: but let euery man take heede how he buildeth vpon it.

For other foundation can no man laie, then that which is laied, which is Iesus Christ.

And if any man builde on this foundation, golde, siluer, precious stones, timber, haye, or stubble,

Euery mans worke shalbe made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shalbe reueiled by the fire: and the fire shall trie euery mans worke of what sort it is.

If any mans worke, that he hath built vpon, abide, he shall receiue wages.

If any mans worke burne, he shall lose, but he shalbe saued himselfe: neuerthelesse yet as it were by the fire.

God’s Temple and God’s Wisdom

(Romans 12:1–8; 1 Corinthians 6:18–20)

Knowe ye not that ye are the Temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

If any man destroy the Temple of God, him shall God destroy: for the Temple of God is holy, which ye are.

Let no man deceiue himselfe: If any man among you seeme to be wise in this world, let him be a foole, that he may be wise.

For the wisdome of this worlde is foolishnesse with God: for it is written, He catcheth the wise in their owne craftinesse.

And againe, The Lord knoweth that the thoughtes of the wise be vaine.

Therefore let no man reioyce in men: for all things are yours.

Whether it be Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death: whether they be things present, or thinges to come, euen all are yours,

And ye Christes, and Christ Gods.

Sektierertum ist fleischlich

(Hebräer 5,11-14)

Auch ich, Brüder! konnte nicht zu euch reden als zu Geistigen, sondern als zu Fleischlichen. Als Unmündigen in Christus

gab ich euch Milch zu trinken, nicht feste Speise, denn noch waret ihr nicht stark genug; ja, auch jetzt seid ihr es noch nicht, denn noch seid ihr fleischlich.

Denn da unter euch Eifersucht herrscht und Streit, seid ihr da nicht fleischlich und wandelt nach menschlicher Weise?

Denn wenn einer sagt: Ich bin des Paulus; der andere aber: Ich des Apollos, seid ihr da nicht Menschen? Was ist denn Apollo? Oder was Paulus?

Wässern, arbeiten, warnen

Diener dessen, an den ihr gläubig geworden seid, und jeglicher so, wie es der Herr ihm gegeben hat.

Ich habe gepflanzt, Apollo hat begossen; aber Gott hat das Gedeihen gegeben.

Daher ist weder der etwas, welcher pflanzt, noch der, welcher begießt, sondern der das Gedeihen gibt, Gott.

Der da pflanzt, und der begießt, sind eines; ein jeder wird seinen Lohn je nach seiner Arbeit empfangen.

Denn wir sind Gottes Mitarbeiter, ihr seid Gottes Ackerfeld, seid Gottes Bau.

(Jesaja 28,14-22; Epheser 2,19-22; 1. Petrus 2,1-8)

Gemäß der Gnade Gottes, die mir gegeben ist, habe ich wie ein weiser Baumeister den Grund gelegt, ein anderer aber baut darauf. Ein jeder aber sehe zu, wie er darauf baue.

Denn einen anderen Grund kann niemand legen, als den, welcher gelegt ist, welcher ist Christus Jesus.

Wenn aber jemand auf diesen Grund aufbaut Gold, Silber, Edelsteine, Holz, Heu, Stoppeln,

so wird eines jeden Werk offenbar werden; denn der Tag des Herrn wird es kundmachen, weil es im Feuer offenbar werden wird, und wie das Werk eines jeden ist, wird das Feuer erproben.

Wenn jemandes Werk, welches er aufgebaut hat, besteht, so wird er Lohn empfangen.

Wenn jemandes Werk verbrennt, so wird er Schaden leiden; er selbst aber wird selig werden, so jedoch wie durch Feuer.

(Römer 12,1-8; 1. Korinther 6,18-20)

Wisset ihr nicht, dass ihr Gottes Tempel seid, und der Geist Gottes in euch wohnt?

Wenn aber jemand den Tempel Gottes versehrt, so wird ihn Gott verderben; denn der Tempel Gottes ist heilig, das seid ihr.

Meide weltliche Weisheit

Niemand betrüge sich selbst! Wenn jemand unter euch als ein Weiser in dieser Welt gilt, der werde ein Tor, auf dass er ein Weiser werde.

Denn die Weisheit dieser Welt ist Torheit vor Gott. Denn es steht geschrieben: Ich werde die Weisen fangen in ihrer Schlauheit.

Und wiederum: Der Herr kennt die Gedanken der Weisen, dass sie nichtig sind.

Darum rühme sich niemand der Menschen.

Denn alles ist euer; sei es Paulus oder Apollo oder Kephas, oder Welt oder Leben oder Tod, oder Gegenwart oder Zukunft; denn alles ist euer;

ihr aber seid Christi, Christus aber Gottes.
