- Kapitel 25 -

1
Moreover David and the chief. officers of the army separated for the ministry the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Idithun: to prophesy with harps, and with psalteries, and with cymbals according to their number serving in their appointed office.

Of the sons of Asaph: Zacchur, and Joseph, and Nathania, and Asarela, sons of Asaph: under the hand of Asaph prophesying near the king.

And of Idithun: the sons of Idithun, Godolias, Serf, Jeseias, and Hasabias, and Mathathias, six, under the hand of their father Idithun, who prophesied with a harp to give thanks and to praise the Lord.

Of Heman also: the sons of Heman, Bocciau, Mathaniau, Oziel, Subuel, and Jerimoth, Hananias, Hanani, Eliatha, Geddelthi, and Romemthiezer, and Jesbacassa, Mellothi, Othir, Mahazioth:

All these were the sons of Heman the seer of the king in the words of God, to lift up the horn: and God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

All these under their father’s hand were distributed to sing in the temple of the Lord, with cymbals, and psalteries and harps, for the service of the house of the Lord near the king: to wit, Asaph, and Idithun, and Heman.

And the number of them with their brethren, that taught the song of the Lord, all the teachers, were two hundred and eighty-eight,

And they cast lots by their courses, the elder equally with the younger, the learned and the unlearned together.
9
And the first lot came forth to Joseph, who was of Asaph. The second to Godolias, to him and his sons, and his brethren twelve.
10
The third to Zachur, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
11
The fourth to Isari, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
12
The fifth to Nathania, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
13
The sixth to Bocciau, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
14
The seventh to Isreela, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
15
The eighth to Jesaia, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
16
The ninth to Mathanaias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
17
The tenth to Semeias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
18
The eleventh to Azareel, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
19
The twelfth to Hasabia, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
20
The thirteenth to Subael, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
21
The fourteenth to Mathathias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
22
The fifteenth to Jerimoth, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
23
The sixteenth to Hananias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
24
The seventeenth to Jesbacassa, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
25
The eighteenth to Hanani, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
26
The nineteenth to Mellothi, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

The twentieth to Eliatha, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

The one and twentieth to Othir, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
29
The two and twentieth to Geddelthi, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
30
The three and twentieth to Mahazioth, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
31
The four and twentieth to Romemthiezer, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

Und David und die Obersten des Heeres bestimmten die Söhne Asaphs und Hemans und Idithuns für den Dienst, auf Zithern und Harfen und Zimbeln zu weissagen, dass sie nach ihrer Zahl in dem ihnen übertragenen Amte Dienst täten:

Von den Söhnen Asaphs: Zakchur, Joseph, Nathania und Asarela, die Söhne Asaphs; unter der Leitung Asaphs, der bei dem Könige weissagte.

Von Idithun: Die Söhne Idithuns: Godolias, Sori, Jesejas, Hasabias und Mathathias, sechs unter der Leitung ihres Vaters Idithuns, der auf der Harfe weissagte vor denen, welche dem Herrn Dank und Lob sangen.

Von Heman: Die Söhne Hemans: Bokkiau, Mathaniau, Oziel, Subuel, Jerimoth, Hananias, Hanani, Eliatha, Geddelthi, Romemthiezer, Jesbakassa, Mellothi, Othir und Mahazioth:

Diese alle waren Söhne Hemans, des Sehers des Königs in den Worten Gottes, das Horn zu erhöhen; und Gott gab Heman vierzehn Söhne und drei Töchter.

Alle waren unter die Leitung ihres Vaters gestellt, bei dem Gesange im Tempel des Herrn mit Zimbeln und Harfen und Zithern, zum Dienste im Hause des Herrn bei dem Könige, nämlich unter Asaph, Idithun und Heman.
7
Sie zählten aber samt ihren Brüdern, die im Gesange des Herrn unterrichtet waren, allesamt Meister, zweihundert und achtundachtzig.
8
Und sie warfen das Los über ihre Abwechslung im Amte, der Hohe gleichwie der Geringe, ebenso der Kundige wie der Unkundige.
9
Das erste Los fiel auf Joseph, Asaphs Sohn. Das zweite auf Godolias und seine Söhne und seine Brüder, zwölf.
10
Das dritte auf Zachur, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
11
Das vierte auf Isari, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
12
Das fünfte auf Nathanias, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
13
Das sechste auf Bokkiau, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
14
Das siebte aus Isreela, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
15
Das achte auf Jesajas, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
16
Das neunte auf Mathanias, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
17
Das zehnte auf Semejas, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
18
Das elfte auf Azareel, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
19
Das zwölfte auf Hasabias, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
20
Das dreizehnte auf Subael, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
21
Das vierzehnte auf Mathathias, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
22
Das fünfzehnte auf Jerimoth, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
23
Das sechzehnte auf Hananias, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
24
Das siebzehnte auf Jesbakassa, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
25
Das achtzehnte auf Hanani, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
26
Das neunzehnte auf Mellothi, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
27
Das zwanzigste auf Eliatha, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
28
Das einundzwanzigste auf Othir, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
29
das zweiundzwanzigste auf Geddelthi, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
30
Das dreiundzwanzigste auf Mahazioth, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
31
Das vierundzwanzigste auf Romemthiezer, auf seine Söhne und Brüder, zwölf.
